The very last Art Flea is this weekend! Be extra sure to join us extra early this Saturday for Chris Cakes and Santa. 8:30 to be exact. We'll have lots and lots of cool, fun stuff perfect for holiday gift giving. Maybe you have a Secret Santa thing going at work or school? We'll be happy to help you find that present. Last minute gifts needed? We have great stuff, as always. Merry Christmas, happy Chanukah, happy Kwanza, happy New Year!

Hello there, Art Flea Shoppers.

We've only got a month to go before The Holidays hit, and there are only three more Art Fleas this year. Yup, it's true. The 28th of November and 5th of December we'll be open our regular 10-5, closed on the 12th, and open early- 8:30- on the 19th for Breakfast with Santa. Vendors can start setting up their booths at 7:30 that morning. Hope to see you there!

Hope for Change? Invest in Your Community

As we gear up to reluctantly spend our hard earned dollars on gifts for the holidays; let's keep in mind that those dollars we spend have a voice and power to uplift our community. Buying locally made products, especially products made from recycled or repurposed materials, contributes positively to the health of our neighborhoods.

The Original Art Flea Market, located at the corner of 16th and Holmes KCMO, was created by two small nonprofits as a means to support the KC Metro community economically and to provide resources for our local artists. ArtsTech is providing a large indoor gallery space for artists to rent a booth cheaply ($20). Storytellers Inc. is managing the event. Together, the nonprofits are investing those booth fees in marketing the Original Art Flea to the public, hoping to expand eastward the boundaries of the Crossroads Art District.

Every Saturday 9am - 2pm until Dec. 20th, over 20 artists are offering up unique handmade items such as clothing, accessories, jewelry, soaps and candles, and bringing in funky rare vintage items all priced from $1 to $50. The public is invited to this unique family oriented shopping experience for free to peruse the selections and find one of a kind gifts that are easy on the wallet. Items are under $50 but you can easily get a hand full of goodies for under $5.

Vendors, if you would like to become a part of the Art Flea view the Info For Artists section in the right hand side of this webpage. Feel free to work as many or as few Saturdays as you like, we don't require our vendors to rent a minimum number of days.

Located just blocks from the Power and Light District and Sprint Center at 1522 Holmes, the Original Art Flea is a new venue for buying local art priced from $1 to $50 just in time for the holidays. $1 suggested donation at the door buys a raffle ticket to win cool prizes. Fine art, handmade goods, accessories, clothing, kitsch, vintage finds and more
